Where I stayed

I visited Nuremberg for the Christmas markets, arriving on a train from Munich. As this was my first time in the city, it was important for me to be near the historic sights and restaurants. In addition, I wanted to be within a walking distance to the Christmas markets.

My favourite place to stay in Nuremberg is Dürer-Hotel. The location is fantastic for sightseeing (right next to the castle in the historic centre). Rooms are spacious, comfy and the breakfast is excellent!

If you’re visiting Nuremberg for sightseeing (or the Christmas markets), choose accommodation in the Old Town. You’ll have everything right at your doorstep, including most of the historic sights, restaurants and Christmas markets.
